Listen here, asshat, Star Wars is my Star Wars.  I camped in line for 15 DAYS, constructed my own lightsaber, and built a replica Slave Leia costume out of real copper.

Way to be a sexist, stereotypical, misogynist (yes, I know it's redundant, there aren't enough words for your utter FAIL).  You're the reason why geeks have the reputation for being myopic dorks with no social skills (which is another false stereotype).  Considering your total lack of understanding women, I would be shocked to discover that you had ever managed to find a willing female partner.

You are correct. I feel for writers like Michael Shermer, who are desperately trying to do damage control by remaining as columnists to that sinking ship. I wish them luck, but other than specific individuals like Shermer, HuffPo has been relegated, in my mind, to the same bin as The National Inquirer and The Daily Mail

I never saw the point in it. People who dwell there too long become obnoxious armchair idiot experts about everything. It just fires up a core base of rabid drooling savants without providing any real information or news. Then I saw how there is a slant for 'magic' over science I decided it was the worst place on the web.
