The Secret Service is now investigating the denial-of-service attack on NOonprop8.com, an attack that began Wednesday afternoon and eventually made the site unreachable that evening.  No on Prop 8 described the attack as "what appears to be a coordinated attack designed to bring the system down."

The conservative groups, who are against gay marriage for what can only be called discrimination, have resorted to illegal internet attacks and have now received the attention of the Secret Service.

Their bigotry and hatred, which has been only thinly veiled behind a concern for "family values" and "what about the children", have reached a new low.  This is not a belief that hetero marriages are better, this is bigotry and nothing more, and this attack only emphasizes how wrong they are because their arguments are not enough to convince people, they have to also block information to the contrary because it is more compelling, and more right. 

This is absolutely fucking ridiculous.  I don't even have words strong enough to describe the utter aburdity that is this desire to prevent one type of person from any civil right given to other citizens.  There is absolutely no god damn reason to prevent gay people from forming families if they want to.  If you don't like it, don't marry someone of your gender!

Somehow I doubt that's the kind of thing their "god" meant when he said he helps those who help themselves.
