Government is, and always has been, through publicity - candidates and officials have to talk to the people they seek to lead. So it elicits curiosity here in the bunker when the Republican vice presidential candidate speaks to the media only twice in the three weeks since the Republican National Convention. Why, your highly articulate, insightful, amusing, but little read blogger asked himself, would a major national party try to keep their candidate gagged? Could it be...because she's a babbling idiot?
Turns out I was right. Palin's recent interview with CBS anchor Katie Couric shows that Palin is the GOP's Alexei Romanov, and the GOP, like the last Tsar, has been trying to hide her haemophilia from the world that must someday rely on her. Except in Palin's case, the unstoppable bleeding is in IQ points.
