Travel Photography

I just returned from a trip to Ohio to visit my sweetie and meet his family for the first time.  I took some pictures.  Most are pictures of the most adorable barn kitten evar (poor thing had something wrong with its eyes), some are of the other barn cats, some are of a family graveyard, and some are miscellaneous other things.  Plus, some very bizarre signage:

This was a grocery store / gun shop.  Yes.  A grocery store.  And gun shop.



You can see here, right above the frozen french fries, are cross bow supplies, with directions on where to find more crossbow supplies:


Unfortunately, I did not think to snap a picture of the giant moosehead gazing down from above the refrigerated meat section, or the giant bear looming over the cash registers.


Then, in the airport on the way home, I noticed this little gem:

I could probably write an entire rant on this picture alone.  In fact, I may just do that later!

Thanks. I'm especially kicking myself for having forgotten my good DSLR camera and had to take all of these with my little snapshot camera.

Thanks for the link. I'm amused that it allows for multiple profiles. But for a subscription fee, I'd rather just use My Wishlist and just friend all those I need to keep track of. It's not the most streamlined service, but it is free. But GiftGirl is something to keep an eye on.

can't honestly say that I miss the Midwest (the grocery/gun store just about sums it up, neh?)... adorable kitty though! I especially like the kitty playing with the squash.
