leora . Apparently it takes a look at all your public posts (or maybe it's just the more recent ones) and mashes them up together and spits out a journal entry. There are 4 levels from "not creative" to "non-sensical". So I tried it, and rather than have 4 posts of mine that don't really make any sense all show up on everyone's friends list (those that have me on them, that is), I just decided to delete them all and post them as one post behind a cut. I don't expect anyone to find any interest in these except me ... but as she said in her post, never underestimate the boredom level of the average LJ user - to which I decided to make an entire entry all about mixed up words from previous entries. Maybe I should go back to my costuming before I get myself into more boredom trouble?

I posted a Tech Support issue a few days after this conversation took place. Here was my response:I don't fear turning 30. I look forward to it. 27 was a pretty good year. 28 was better and 29 was even better than that. I can't wait to see what 30 has in store for me. My life just keeps getting better as I understand myself more and I make more conscious choices to make my life look that way. The end result is that I will literally freeze in my seat. My temperature drops, my hands get cold, and I seem to have developed an inability to move my limbs or think of the appropriate tactics is for me to be sociable enough to make up for my companions' unapproachability. ~ Playing a group game that requires me to go above and beyond to compensate in order to prove a pregnancy is the result of the stress or exhaustion associated with the game. Most of the 23 patients never suffered seizures other than when playing mahjong and the seizures occurred as early as one hour into their games, the researchers said. One patient stopped having seizures after quitting mahjong but relapsed after taking up the game again, according to the study.The researchers called mahjong a "cognitively demanding game.""It involves substantial higher mental processing and outputs: memory, concentration, calculations, reasoning, strategies, sequential thinking and planning," they said.

Yeah, it's silly. I've been in the entertainment industry for YEARS and I even specialized in music videos back before digital cameras and digital editing became commonplace. I've logged in hours on top of hours in a linear edit suite on both video tape and film and I'm quite good at synching up audio to the video that matches it, particularly matching voice to mouth movement. I've even built a digital editing computer back when firewire was so new, Fry's Electronics hadn't heard of it yet. But I've never edited anything non-linearly before! Everyone keeps telling me it's easy, I'm pretty good with computers when I'm not being lazy and having my more experienced friends fix stuff for me. I have all the knowledge for the hows and the whys that underly the digital realm (just like I know the background in photography and film development that helps me to understand Photoshop better). I just never got around to doing it.I really enjoy the band Nickel Creek. I can't find my mp3s of their music since my last computer crashed. I recently downloaded all their music I could find and I favorited some of their videos on YouTube. They do a bluegrass cover of Toxic (yeah, the Britney Spears song). I know it sounds wierd, but really, it's a cool cover. But I don't think they are valuable presentations, I don't think they recorded it anywhere, so I can only find hidden camera-phone recordings online, both audio only and video/audio. The videos all suck. They're low resolution and they jump and move all over the place, making me dizzy. So I took the best audio recording I could find, and made a slideshow using still images of them I found online (funny, I didn't think of looking on their website, and now I wish I had - they are better quality pictures). Hence, I am very comfortable in my female body and have no desire to change it, and I also am sexually attracted to men but not women. So most people think I'm wierd, or even naive, for jumping on board with this idea.
