Thanks for the review! I have a vague memory of Jayne encountering someone he knew from before, but no memory of trying to change her mind, so I don't know if I just haven't seen that episode yet & I'm confusing it with something else, or I've forgotten it.
I love his character, but I think the writers actually don't do his character justice sometimes. When he tries to convince people of the truth, he does it in a way that puts people off, and I know there are some online who have gotten these concepts across in ways that believers are at least not offended by them.
