I'm a big "Mentalist" fan. There's another great episode where he encounters someone who was a "customer" of his when he was working as a psychic, and she's now being taken advantage of by a new fraud and Jayne tries to convince her it's all fake & she simply can't accept it.
"Psych" is a MUCH different show and frankly wasn't worth watching after the first season... it got stupid & starting resorting to stunts like guest appearances by pro wrestlers.
"The Mentalist" is in NO way comparable or ripped off.
