That's what a bunch of people have been trying to tell him. He's an otherwise pretty normal 25 year old guy who just happens to not do well in relating to women, so it's his form of release. But he was raised in a very religious household where he was taught it was evil or sinful or dirty or whatever and Bundy was an example that was given to him of what happens to guys who look at porn. He also blames his having ever looked at porn for his inability to relate to women. He honestly believes that it's set him on an irretrievable road to hell and he has to find help to stop or it'll ruin him. His mindset's exactly what you describe.
