Just curious, do you see WOMEN who do the "Oh we're friends" thing with attached guys because they (the women) are hoping for "something more" one day? It pops up in TV and movies SOMETIMES but not as often, and usually gets attached to an "ugly duckling" scenario where the guy doesn't notice her until she becomes "beautiful," reinforcing a whole other set of negative ideas.
