Yep. That comes up all the freaking time. I've even heard that from lesbians. The fun part is when guys pontificate on how female bisexuality is "natural" because of this stupid idea, and I turn that around on them: "so, by that logic, you ought to be having mind-blowing sex with other men, cuz a man would know better how to please you than a woman, since he has all the same equipment, right?" That makes them decidedly uncomfortable, and I like making bigots uncomfortable.
Aside from the whole we're-all-the-same-person bullshit, I've actually tried to be bisexual. I'm just not. I have absolutely no clue what to do with women or what they like. When I started having sex with men, I didn't suffer any particular confusion or hesitation at what to do with them. Some things I did naturally, other things were explained to me as particular to that partner. But with women, I'm just baffled as to what to do, even after being instructed.
As for my partners, even new, unskilled male partners excited me far more than the most skilled female partner I had. I'm just wired to be attracted to men. My female partners weren't unpleasurable, sensation is sensation after all, but it wasn't particularly exciting or arousing either, unlike being with men.
