Anti-Palin Rally In Anchorage Alaska

On Sept. 13, 2008, over 1400 people rallied in Anchorage, Alaska to show their support for keeping Palin out of the White House.  In a sparsely-populated state like Alaska, getting a rally with a hundred supporters is a big enough feat!  According to this article, it was the biggest rally ever in Alaskan history.  A right-wing conservative radio DJ heard about the rally and announced it on air, along with the organizers' phone numbers and encouraged his listeners to harass the women who organized the rally, making such statements as calling them "a bunch of socialist baby-killing maggots".  The idiot showed up with his own sign and the best he could come up with was "Alaska is not Frisco".
