We had a steel build here about 7 years ago that OSHA made a surprise visit too. They only one problem with the way we were working. They wanted us to have the double lanyard in use while climbing and descending the steel. The whole take one step stop unclip and reclip take one more step, stop unclip and reclip Etc etc. Nearly all the climbers walked off the job. We clip off when get where we are going. OSHA never did make an appearance again during the event. The next day we continued things the way we normally do them. Climbing eighty feet and having to stop every foot. Takes way to much energy. Literally we were beat having to start and stop our momentum 80 times.
