Yeah, I agree, the more clear wording is an improvement and probably contributing to the likelihood of it not passing.
Unfortunately, the latest polls here say 58% are in favor of the ban (we need 60% vote to pass), with a 3.5% margin of error, so it has a very real possibility of passing. The Florida churches have launched a campaign from the pulpit to support this ban, so approval of it has increased over the last couple of months.
