Its funny you mention the con crud. As of my return I found out my boss is currently horrifically sick, like biblical plague sick, and yes that means its raining frogs in his office and the water cooler has filled with blood. Now the timing of this has made me realize that he was most likely at his most contagious while I was at Dragon... so that I think makes Dragoncon the first con that has ever prevented me from getting sick.
Well, that's a lucky break! As it happens, earlier this year, tacit attended FPR practically on his deathbed with bronchitis and I didn't get nary a sniffle in spite of being smoochy all 4 days. But I go to D*con and I come home with the first headcold I've had in a year.
Ah well, it was still worth it ... every bit of it!
