I've been meaning to return for a while to report that Betty Martin, a professional body worker (who teaches other body workers), has done some very good work around processes to clarify consent. In particular clarifying what people are asking for: a "Wheel of Consent" -- which sadly isn't online -- contrasting giving/receiving with taking/permission; both are okay things (providing you stick within the area that consent was given), but failure to be clear on which is occurring leads to very mixed messages, and can lead to things no one wants.

She's also writing a book about Consent (which I so wish was available now, from what I've heard of her work thus far), and giving a tele-class on consent in October (that link also has recordings of the tele-classes to date; all the ones I've listened to have been very insightful).
