I try to stay away from those carts - I'm lucky enough to be small, so I get muscled away from big heavy objects even if I am strong enough to handle it, which usually annoys me, but in certain instances, I'm willing to forgo the argument on women's lib :-)
I have, however, just narrowly missed falling chain and shackles before. But I've been fortunate in that I've had no permanent injuries so far (couple of long-recovering injuries, though).
We could probably trade injury and near-miss stories all night :-)
